About the Recipe

This Chai-Spiced Cold Brew Coffee is where bold coffee flavour meets the warm comfort of traditional chai spices. The deep, smooth taste of cold brew blends with AZUE Cinnamon, Cloves, and Nutmeg Powder, offering a subtly spiced, aromatic kick. Lightly sweetened and served over ice, it’s the perfect energising yet cooling beverage for hot summer days. Inspired by the centuries-old nuska of Indian kitchens, this drink stimulates circulation and awakens the senses while offering a modern, cafe-style experience at home. A sophisticated choice for those who want both refreshment and a touch of heritage.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water

  • 2 tbsp loose-leaf black tea or 4 tea bags

  • 4-5 green AZUE Cardamom Pods

  • 2 tbsp rose syrup

  • Ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan. Lightly crush 4–5 AZUE Cardamom Pods using a mortar and pestle to release the aroma. Add the pods to the boiling water and let them simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  2. Add 2 tablespoons of loose-leaf black tea or 4 tea bags to the water. Reduce the heat and steep for 3–4 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. Avoid over-steeping to prevent bitterness.

  3. Turn off the heat and strain the tea through a fine sieve into a clean jug to remove the tea leaves and cardamom pods. Let the tea cool to room temperature.

  4. Stir in 2 tablespoons of rose syrup evenly into the tea. Taste and adjust for sweetness or floral intensity.

  5. Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the tea over them.

  6. Optional: Float edible rose petals on top and garnish with a thin slice of lemon for an elegant touch.
