About the Recipe

Step into a summer garden with every sip of this Cardamom Rose Iced Tea. The floral sweetness of rose syrup blends effortlessly with lightly crushed AZUE Cardamom Pods and delicate black tea, creating a fragrant and soothing beverage. Chilled over ice, it’s perfect for lazy afternoons or hosting friends with style. Inspired by ancient Indian nuska practices, cardamom is known to refresh the breath and calm the mind, while rose elevates mood and adds elegance. This drink brings tradition and luxury together in a single, visually stunning summer refresher.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chilled water

  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice

  • ¼ cup sugar or jaggery syrup

  • 1 tsp AZUECumin Powder

  • ½ tsp black salt

  • Handful of fresh mint leaves

  • Ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Wash a handful of fresh mint leaves and pat them dry. Place them in a large jug or bowl. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press the leaves, releasing their aromatic oils without tearing them too much.

  2. Squeeze fresh lemons to get about ½ cup of lemon juice. Remove any seeds. Pour the juice over the muddled mint leaves.

  3. Add ¼ cup of sugar or jaggery syrup and stir until fully dissolved. Adjust the sweetness to taste.

  4. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of AZUE Cumin Powder and ½ teaspoon of black salt into the mixture. Stir thoroughly so that the spices are evenly distributed.

  5. Pour 4 cups of chilled water into the jug and mix again. Taste and adjust lemon, sweetness, or spice as needed.

  6. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the cooler over them. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a thin slice of lemon for a visually appealing presentation.
