About the Recipe
Paneer bhurji is a quick, protein-packed scrambled cheese dish, flavoured with turmeric, garam masala, and black pepper. It’s a comforting breakfast often paired with parathas, bread, or even toast.

Ingredients
200g paneer (Indian cottage cheese), crumbled or grated
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium tomato, finely chopped
1 green chilli, chopped (optional)
½ tsp AZUE’s Grandma’s Special Nuska Turmeric Powder
½ tsp AZUE’s Grandma’s Special Nuska Signature Garam Masala
¼ tsp AZUE’s Grandma’s Special Nuska Black Pepper Powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp oil or ghee
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Preparation
Heat oil or ghee in a pan on medium heat.
Add chopped onions and green chillies; sauté until onions soften and turn translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and pulpy (about 2-3 minutes).
Stir in turmeric, garam masala, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
Add crumbled paneer, stirring to coat it evenly with the spices. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the paneer is heated through.
Turn off the heat, and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with bread or masala paratha.
Grandma's Nuska
Add a splash of milk while cooking to make the paneer bhurji softer and creamier. Add chopped bell peppers or peas for added crunch and nutrition. Use crumbled tofu as a vegan alternative to paneer.
